Nice to meet you!

I’m a graphic designer, problem solver, detail-noticer, and enthusiastic maker of things that are both pretty and purposeful. I’ve spent more than a decade designing everything from books and magazines to packaging, campaigns, emails, and the occasional project that doesn’t fit neatly into any category—which, honestly, are often the most fun.

I love a good creative puzzle. Give me a pile of research that needs to become a 60-page report, a collection of artwork that needs to turn into a cohesive packaging system, or a vague “we need a campaign for this…” and I’m happy. I like figuring out the system behind the design: what needs to stay consistent, where there’s room to play, and which tiny detail will make the whole thing feel just a little more thoughtful. I have been known to get disproportionately excited about turning a boring divider line into a miniature ruler. The details are the fun part.

These days, my work lives at the intersection of design, strategy, and creative leadership. I’m just as comfortable deep in InDesign or Illustrator as I am developing a visual direction, collaborating across teams, or helping another designer work through a problem. I also teach design at the college level and mentor emerging designers—two things that have made me an even better designer myself. There’s something pretty wonderful about watching someone go from “I don’t know how to do this” to “LOOK WHAT I MADE.”

At the end of the day, I care about making work that communicates clearly, feels intentional, and has a little bit of humanity in it. I take the work seriously.
Myself? Considerably less so.
